Carolyn Selfe Dip LCM, Accompanist
A nurse by profession and a mother of four, Carolyn manages to juggle the responsibilities of being a parent and accompanying a busy choir. She began to play the piano at the age of 7 and progressed through the music boards up to grade 5. In 2001, she joined her father, Ron Farr as joint accompanist . We believe that we were the only choir in Wales that could boast of having both father and daughter as accompanists. Carolyn decided in order to further improve her playing, to return to her studies in music and achieved DipLCM in July 2007. At this time, Ron had decided to retire after 60 years service to the choir and Carolyn took up the position of full-time accompanist
